  • 2 ACCRO veggie burgers
  • 20 g peppercorns
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 tablespoon Cognac
  • 2 cl white wine
  • 5 cl hearty vegetable stock
  • 10 cl heavy thick cream

Recipe step by step

Step 1

Heat the oil and butter in a non-stick pan. Brown the veggie burgers on each side for 45 seconds over high heat. Continue cooking over medium heat for 1 minute, turning frequently.

Step 2

Set them aside on a plate in a warm place. Wipe the remaining oil from the pan. Add 20 g of butter, add the peppercorns and toast them for a few minutes.

Step 3

Add the burgers and deglaze with the cognac. Carefully light with a match or lighter to flambé. Pour in the white wine and reduce.

Step 4

Add the hearty vegetable broth and remove the burgers. Add the cream.

Step 5

Simmer over low heat until the sauce thickens to a gravy consistency.

Step 6

Taste and adjust seasoning. Pour the pepper sauce generously over the ACCRO plant-based burgers and ENJOY!
